INSTALLED CHANNEL LOADER ON A HATCHBACK

1. Gently place the bow of the kayak into the lower Channel Loader. Continue to hold the kayak to prevent
slippage.
2. Walk back to the stern of the kayak. Lift the kayak and walk it forward gliding across the Channel
Loader(s).
3. With the kayak now loaded into the carriers, remove the Channel Loader(s) assembly from the
vehicle, if necessary move it to the other side to load another kayak.
4. With the Channel Loader(s) removed finish by dressing the straps as defined in your carriers instructions.
. Thread the free ends of each strap down and under
the cross bar, and, back up through the boarding ramp
slot. See image 13.

To unload the kayak, simply install your Channel Roller(s) and reverse the above process.
