Warning: Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the instrument and keep it for future use.
A. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use this device as describe in this
instruction manual.
2. Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic parts.
3. Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the appliance.
4. This unit is not designed to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote control system.
5. Please keep the sensor and probe clean before and after measurement;
6. Best work environment temperature is between 15℃ to 40℃.
7. Don't place the infrared thermometer in extreme environment, namely temperature is below -20℃ or over 55℃,
humidity is over 85%RH.
8. When the people being measured comes from a place where the temperature has a big difference from the test
environment, he/she should stay in the test environment for at least 5 minutes in order to keep balance of the body
temperature. Otherwise, the measurement result will be influenced.
9. If the product is taken from a place where the temperature has a big difference from the test environment, then the
product should be placed in the test environment for 20 minutes before measurement.
10. Please keep the surrounding environment stable. Don't measure in the fan, air conditioning vent airflow circle.
11. Please avoid using the thermometer under direct sunlight, even outdoor.
12. Measurement time interval in 20s .
13. Advise to measure few minutes later after waking up.
14. Do not measure after swimming or bathing or other reasons not yet completely dry.
15. Please do not measure temperature after exercising, bathing or meal within 30 minutes.
16. Before measuring body temperature, do not make any diet, and do not engage in sports activities.
17. Do not measure baby temperature during or after breast-feeding.
18. The thermometer can take away from the temperature measurement sites, only after the end of the voice prompts
to hear the temperature.
19. Recommendations made three measurements in the following three cases, then take the higher value as the
measurement results.
- Children under three with weakened immune systems (in particular, to judge by children or without fever
thermometer);
- Not yet fully familiar with the use of a thermometer, so each measured temperature value may not be the same;
- When suspect the measurement value is low.
