OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE FIRST USE


Remove the kettle from the outer packaging. Take care not to leave plastic
materials lying within reach of animals and children.

Open the lid of the kettle by pushing the lid latch backwards towards the kettle
handle and then lifting the lid upwards.

Pour the water in through the top of the kettle and not through the spout since
this will eventually lead to lime scale build up on the outside of the filter negating
the benefits.

Fill the unit to the maximum mark. Boil and then discard this water. Repeat this
OPERATION

Open the lid by pressing the lid release button and fill the kettle with the required
amount of water.

Close the lid.

Place the unit firmly on to its power base and press the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position. The power ON indicator light will illuminate.

When the kettle has boiled, it will switch OFF automatically. The indicator light
will go OFF.

If you want to stop the water boiling or interrupt it briefly, remove the kettle from
the base.
PLEASE NOTE: This appliance comes with a safety device, which automatically
switches off the heating element if the appliance is inadvertently switched ON when
empty, or if it boils dry. In this case, let the appliance cool down completely, before filling
with water again. This allows the device to reset.


Do not open or change any parts by yourself. Please refer to a qualified electrical
service department or return to the supplier if servicing is necessary.

Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. Ensure that the speed control is set to "0".
