MAINTENANCE
• The appliance should be kept dry when not in use.
• The inter-vessel seal (16) should be replaced when it is harden or
damaged.
• The lower and upper vessels should not be tightly fitted together
or the inter-vessel seal should be removed when storing.
DESCALING
DESCALING
• For best performance from your appliance, descale the unit from
time to time.
• The frequency depends upon the hardness of tap water and how
often the appliance is used.
• Add 300 ml of water with scaler solution or vinegar. Be sure that
all parts are in place and that the lid is closed. Set the appliance
on the power base and plug.
• When the cycle is finished, run another cycle of fresh cold water
before using the unit to brew coffee.
