Extreme precaution should be exercised when using any type of domestic appliances,
especially the followings :
• Read these instructions carefully before using for the first time and only use the appliance in
the way indicated in the operation instructions.
• Before plugging the appliance in, check if the voltage specified on the appliance corresponds
to the mains.
• Do not place near of children and do not let them operate the appliance.
• It is not advisable to expose babies or older people to a continuous cold air stream.
• Never immerse or spray any part of the appliance in water or any liquid. Make sure that the
electrical cable and plug cannot come in contact with water or humidity. Do not use the
appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• Do not let the appliance in explosive or inflammable environments. Do not place the appli-
ance near a naked flame, stove or heater.
• Always place the appliance on a flat, dry surface. Do not place the appliance on window-sills.
• Place the appliance at 10 cm from the wall.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is to be moved or not to be used for a
long time. Unplug the appliance by holding the plug ; do not pull the electrical cable.
• Do not use the appliance without the protective grilles.
• Do never introduce any object into the grilles when the appliance is connected.
• This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use it outdoor.
• Do not use any electrical connections that are unauthorized or different from those supplied
with the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if the electrical cable is damaged or whenever any possible internal
failure or incorrect operation has been detected. The appliance and the cord must be
repaired only by an authorized qualified electrician.
