• Electronic and fluorescent lighting may interfere with commu-
nications between the remote control and the appliance.
• Remove the battery if the remote control is not used for a pro-
longed period.
• Always use new batteries.
Using old batteries or different types of batteries may cause the
remote control to malfunction.
Battery leakage could damage the remote control.
• Once flat, the batteries must be replaced and properly recycled
or dealt with in accordance with local regulations.
• Do not allow the batteries to come into contact with fire.
• If battery liquid gets onto the skin or clothes, wash thoroughly
with clean water.
2- PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
• Place the appliance on a stable and not inclined base, at at least
15 cm. from the wall or from any other object, in order to ensure
the correct air circulation. Place it on a water-resistant surface
since the possible water leakage could damage furniture or the
floor.
• Do not place the appliance directly on carpets, towels, blankets
or other absorbent surfaces.
