Warning instruction hazard levels
The following hazard levels are used in these
operating instructions to indicate potentially haz-
ardous situations and important safety rules:
DANGER!
The hazardous situation is about to
occur and will lead, if the measures
are not observed, to severe injuries
and even death. Observe the
measure without fail.
WARNING !
The hazardous situation could occur
and will lead, if the measures are
not observed, to severe injuries and
even death. Work with extreme
care.
CAUTION !
The hazardous situation could occur
and will lead, if the measures are
not observed, to slight or minor
injuries.
Attention !
A possibly harmful situation could occur and will
lead, if not avoided, to property damage.

Safety Instructions

Format of safety instructions
Self and personal protection
Do not work with the device without having
been instructed in its use.
Protect your hands with suitable gloves (electri-
cally insulating, heat protection).
Protect your eyes with safety goggles.
The device must not be operated by the fol-
lowing persons:
• Persons with a heart pacemaker
• Persons under 16 years of age as long as
the work with the device is not supervised
by an adult person
• Persons with a metal or physical disability
which during operation of the device could
lead to a danger for the person in question
and/or that person's surroundings
Keep the working area well ventilated and dry
Hazards from mains electricity
Never use the device with a damaged cable
or damaged generator (Fig. II).
If the mains cable is damaged or severed
during work, do not touch the cable and
remove the mains plug immediately.
The device may only be connected to a
properly earthed mains power supply with PE
contact.
Switch off the device when not in use.
