Do NOt start the chainsaw hold-
ing it with the hand alone
1) Rest the chainsaw on a stable surface.
2) Press the stop switch to "START" (fig.26 item 1).
3) Pull the air knob fully out (fig. 27 part 1). Press
the fuel bulb (Primer) fully down repeatedly (fig.
27 part 2).
4) Hold the chainsaw fast as shown in fig.28.
– Make sure the area around the bar and the chain
is free of any objects.
5) Give the starter cord handle a strong pull, until
the first coughs from the engine (normally not
more than 4/5 times) fig.28.
AttENtiON to the possibility of the
chain moving.
6) Fully press down the air knob (choke) (fig.29),
so that the "tHROttLE ADVANCE" remains
engaged.
