4. Special settings (sensor administration)
After activating the "Sensor administration" field in the system settings menu (see
section 3.1.3) the "Sensor administration" menu appears, in which one-off settings
are made before operation of the weather station.

Setting of the sensor addresses and the sensor version
The sensor addresses and sensor versions for the individual sensors can be set on
the left of the display.
Addressing
Normally the indoor sensor, the rain sensor, the brightness sensor and the wind
sensor are given address 7. In contrast to the outdoor sensors only one of these
sensors in a system is administered. This addressing is only changed if several
systems are operated side by side, as shown in the following section, and the
sensors could cause mutual interference. The outdoor sensors, which are addressed
respectively from 1 to 8, have a single address administration for each sensor.
Sensor version
As a result of developments several sensor variations are available, with Version
1.2 having an extended data transmission protocol that provides improved fault
recognition. The adaptation of sensor versions also permits the integration of sen-
