5. Cleaning
NOTE: AT ALL TIMES UNPLUG FROM MAINS BEFORE CLEANING.
Filter
Unplug the power cord, remove the filter. Clean by using a little soapy water and a soft
brush, clean filter gently. Rinse with clean water. Before replacing/installing the filter
should be completely dry. Never use the appliance without the filter.
Water tank
Unplug the power cord. Remove the plug at the bottom of the unit from the opening.
This allows the water to drain. If the water is removed from the device, which is
advisable to carry out over a drain, preferably outdoors so the floor does not get water
damage. If all the water has drained from the unit replace the plug. Then clean the
filling compartment under the lid and take it off with a damp cleaning cloth with some
detergent. Wipe dry before refitting.
Exterior device
Unplug the power cord. Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth and soapy water.
Note: The operating panel/console may NOT come in contact with water!
