Slice and cut food beforehand, so that they can easily pushed into the food
chamber
4. Always use the food guide to push food! Do not use your fingers! Sliced or
shredded food will be
be delivered from the open end of the slicing/shredding chute, right into your
mixing bowl or onto your saladbowl, pizza, or dishes.
5. Turn off the appliance by putting the switch on OFF position.
Hold the food chamber at an angle to fully insert the driving end of the food
chamber into the socket of the motorized base.

SUGGESTIONS:
- All food slices and shreds better when it is fresh and firm.
- Use light pressure on the food guide for thinner slices and shreds, and firm
pressure for thicker slices and shreds.
- Do not use hard food, such as coffee beans, ice cubes, as they could
damage the blades.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Clean thoroughly your slicer-shredder after using it. All parts, except the
motorized base, are completely dishwasher safe. The motorized base may
be cleaned with a damp cloth. When removing the food chamber from the
motorized base, be sure the power switch is off and the unit is unplugged (the
food chamber cannot be removed with the switch in the ON position).
