10. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem?
Electric mower does not
work
Electric mower trips my
mains circuit-breakers
Cut grass is not blown into
the gras box
Mower struggles to cut
grass
What to Check:
– Is there power to the mower?
– Is the amperage of the sock-
et's contact breaker sufficient?
– Do you have other electrical
equipment running at the
same time?
– Is there a burnig smell, or
smoke?
– Has the blade received a
knock?
– Is the mower's blade housing
clean underneath?
– Is the blade in working order
and sharp?
What to do:
– Check your mower is plugged
in.
– Check the fuse or contact
your store's After-Sales
Service Dept.
– Try a socket of sufficient
amperage.
– Do not connect too many
pieces of equipment to the
same socket at the same time.
– Unplug your mower immedi-
ately and contact your store's
After-Sales Service Dept.
– If so, sharpen, the blade or
replace it. Check the guides
which direct the grass towards
the grass box.
– If not, clean the blade housing
so as to give an easier path
for the hrass to the grass box.
– If not, sharpen the blade or
replace it.
