6.3 Cleaning the air channels
1.
Remove the plinth (1), then the venti-
lation grille (2);
2.
Clean the ventilation grille and the fil-
ter. ( Refer to "Cleaning the ventilation
filter". )
3.
Carefully pull the air deflector out (3),
checking that there is no water left
from the defrosting.
4.
Clean the lower part of the appliance
with a vacuum cleaner.

6.4 Cleaning the ventilation filter
The appliance is equipped with an air inlet
filter (1) and an air outlet duct (2) on the
ventilation grid.
The filter can be removed for washing.
1.
Pinch flaps (a) and (b) with fingers.
2.
Pull the filter down.
3.
Pull the filter out.
To replace the filter reverse the process.

6.5 Periods of non-operation
When the appliance is not in use for long
periods, take the following precautions:
1.
disconnect the appliance from elec-
tricity supply
2.
remove all food
3.
defrost and clean the appliance and
all accessories
4.
leave the door/doors open to prevent
unpleasant smells.

If the cabinet will be kept on, ask
somebody to check it once in a
while to prevent the food inside
from spoiling in case of a power
failure.
