Multifeed adaptor plate
ZAS 90
To accept two or three compact feed systems in order to receive
max. three satellites with one parabolic antenna
ZAS 90 adaptor plate is only suitable for the following
parabolic antennas:
CAS 075, 75, 75/R (75 cm Ø) and CAS 09, 90, 90/R (90 cm Ø)
Either the universal single-feed system UAS 177, the twin-feed
system UAS 272 or the universal quatro-feed systems UAS 484
and UAS 485 can be used
ZAS 90 is only required if two satellites that are 9° apart from one
another or three satellites are to be received
Note:
Mounting positions 2 and 3 cannot be fi tted both at the same
time. To enable proper multifeed reception, the elevation
difference of the satellites one requires to receive must not
exceed 0.7°. Refer to the website (http://www.kathrein.de/de/
sat/index_satpos.htm) to fi nd out the respective elevation
values on your location by means of an azimuth/elevation
calculation.

Observe footprint of the required programmes. Due to the differences in elevation, CAS 120 with compensator is recommended
The values given apply to an alignment onto mounting position 4. Alignment onto the preferred or weakest satellite is also possible.
The alignment is carried out by means of a satellite signal meter. Other satellites are checked in visual control.
If necessary, the parabolic antenna's elevation is to be readjusted. In reception possibility 3, elevation must be readjusted.
