If a slice of bread becomes accidentally stuck

and blocks the lifting mechanism, unplug the
power cable and wait for the device to cool.
Carefully remove the slices of bread ensuring
that you do not damage the heating elements.
Never use a metal object (knife ...) to extract
the bread.
