User instructions:
1. Insert the jack plug of the power supply unit (12 V), included
in delivery, in the connector at the back of the device. Plug
the power supply unit into a suitable electrical outlet - your
Cedis Profi UVC CLEAN is now ready for operation.
2. Gently press down on the lid and it will spring up automatically.
Lift the lid.
3. Open the battery compartment of BTE and ITE hearing aids or
switch off your hearing system.
4. Place the earmolds, BTE or ITE hearing aids into the metallized
insert of the device.
5. Press the power button to select the operation time:
TIP: Greatest effectiveness of more than 99% is achieved by
sterilizing for 5 minutes.
- Press the button once to activate sterilizing for 3 minutes
(LED display will turn BLUE).
- Press the button twice to activate sterilizing for 5 minutes
(LED display will turn GREEN).
- Press the button three times to deactivate the device (LED
display will turn off).
6. Close the lid until you hear a "click". Due to the securing of
the lid, the device is activated and the sterilizing process is started.
7. The operation time is displayed by 4 blue LED indicators that
gradually turn off from left to right during sterilizing. (3-minute
mode 45 seconds per LED indicator, 5-minute mode 75 seconds
per LED indicator).
8. After the dimming of the four blue LED indicators, the device
turns off automatically. After opening the lid, the earmolds, BTE
or ITE hearing aids can be removed.
The device is equipped with an automatic safety switch-off function
that is activated when opening the lid during operation. Upon
closing the lid, the selected operation mode will start over.
