Introduction ® The Best Power Patriot standby power system provides protection against power problems, including power outages, brownouts and sudden increases in power. It also provides spike suppression and line noise filtering to protect your equipment. Front panel LEDs and an audible beep keep you aware of the unit’s status. -
Page 7: Starting The Unit
Starting the Unit Plug the provided power cord into the unit’s input connector. Then, plug the other end into a wall outlet. CAUTION! Whenever the unit’s On/Off switch is on, there may be voltage present at the unit’s outlets. Push down the On/Off switch to turn the unit on. The green LINE LED will come on. -

Near Low Battery Alarm: The runtime remaining is low. The unit will shut down soon. Shut off the load equipment, but do not shut off the Patriot unit. Output Overload Alarm: Too much load equipment is connected to the unit. The unit will shut down. -

Troubleshooting If you have a question or problem, the troubleshooting table may help (see Table 3). If you need assistance, call your local Best Power office. Please have the model number and serial number (located on the bottom of the unit) available. If the unit must be returned, Best Power will give you a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number. -

3 show the location of the fuse holder. Switch off the Patriot unit and all of the load equipment. Unplug the Patriot unit and the load equipment. Disconnect the line cord from the back of the unit. The top of the fuse holder has a small notch. Place a screwdriver into this notch and gently pry the fuse holder out of the unit. -

Dépannage En cas de problèmes, se reporter au tableau de dépannage (tableau 3). Pour obtenir de l'assistance, appeler l’agence Best Power. Noter le numéro du modèle et sa référence série (indiqué en bas de l’unité) avant d'appeler. Si l’unité doit être renvoyée, Best Power fournira un numéro d'autorisation de renvoi du matériel (ARM). -

Einführung ® Das Patriot -Notstromgerät von Best Power bietet Schutz gegen Stromversorgungs- probleme einschließlich Stromausfälle oder -schwankungen. Die Unterdrückung von Spannungsspitzen und ein Störschutzfilter dienen ebenfalls zum Schutz Ihres Gerätes. Optische Signale (LEDs) auf dem vorderen Anzeigefeld und aktustische Signale halten Sie über den Systemstatus am laufenden. -

Den Ein-/Ausschalter nach unten drücken, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Die grüne LED-Anzeige LINE leutchtet auf. Die Batterie 6 Stunden lang aufladen. Die Patriot kann während des Aufladens benützt werden. Die Laufzeit auf Batteriebetrieb ist jedoch kürzer, bis die Batterie voll aufgeladen ist. -

Batterie abgeschaltet. Das Gerät schaltet sich automatisch wieder ein, sobald die Stromzufuhr wiederhergestellt ist. Alarm “Batterie nahezu entladen”: Die verbleibende Betriebszeit ist gering. Das Gerät schaltet sich in Kürze ab. Die angeschlossenen Geräte abschalten, nicht jedoch die Patriot- Anlage. Alarm “Überlastung der Ausgangsleistung”: Zu viele Lastgeräte sind an die Patriot angeschlossen. -

Best Power-Büro. Halten Sie bitte die Modell- und Seriennummer (auf der Unterseite der Patriot abzulesen) bereit. Muß die Patriot zurückgegeben werden, gibt Ihnen Best Power eine Autorisierungsnummer zur Rückgabe des Geräts. Um diese Nummer zu erhalten,, wenden Sie sich telefonisch an Best Power, bevor Sie das Gerät aus irgendeinem Grund zurückgeben. -

Seite 25 zeigen, wo sich der Sicherungshalter befindet. Die Patriot-Anlage und alle Verbraucher abschalten. Den Stecker der Anlage und der Verbraucher herausziehen. Das Netzkabel hinten an der Patriot herausziehen. Am Sicherungshalter befindet sich eine kleine Kerbe. Mit einem Schraubenzieher den Sicherungshalter vorsichtig aus der Halterung ziehen. -
