Note on the use of batteries
Batteries must never be damaged, opened by
force or thrown into open fire. Only replace bat-
teries with the type of battery recommended in
these instructions for use.
Disposal
Used batteries: Batteries must not be disposed
of in household waste. Every consumer is legally
obligated to dispose of batteries properly at the
designated collection points in stores where bat-
teries are sold.
Appliance: Never dispose of the appliance in
normal household waste at the end of its service
life. Check with your local authority or your local
waste disposal services for options regarding en-
vironmentally-friendly disposal.
Guarantee declaration
During the two-year warranty period, we hereby
guarantee the proper functioning of our product
with regard to materials, craftsmanship and
function.
The warranty period starts on the date of
purchase, which must be documented by the
sales receipt. The warranty period begins on the
date the product is purchased from the WMF

specialist retailer, which is to be documented via
a guarantee voucher that has been completed by
the vendor and the proof of purchase. If defects
arise in the product during the warranty period,
we will replace the defective product for a new
one free of charge.
The warranty only extends to this claim. Additi-
onal claims from this warranty are excluded. The
sales receipt, the faulty product and an indica-
tion of the fault must be presented to validate
the claim under warranty. The proof of purchase
and the faulty product must be presented to

this model is still included in the product ran-
ge, the defective part will be replaced by a part
from the same model. If the model is no longer
included in the product range, the defective part
will be replaced with a similar product within the
current product range.
Legal warranty
The consumer's statutory rights against the seller
if the purchased product was not free of defects
at the time of transfer of risk are not affected by
this guarantee. During the warranty period, you
are entitled to the statutory warranty rights for
subsequent fulfilment, withdrawal, reduction
and compensation according to §§ 437 ff BGB
(German Civil Code) to the extent permitted by
law.
Warranty exclusion
No guarantee is assumed for damages caused as
a result of the following:
• Cut and scratch marks of a purely visual
nature
• Overheating
• Unsuitable and improper use
• Incorrect, inappropriate, improper or
negligent handling
• Non-compliance with these instructions
for use
• Improperly performed repairs
• The installation of spare parts that do not
correspond with the original design.
Normal signs of wear and tear – such as cutting
and scratch marks – are purely visible in nature
and do not constitute damage under the terms of
the warranty declaration.
Warranty claims are limited exclusively to normal
proper use in private households. Damage caused
through commercial use is not covered by the
warranty.
