Adjusting the Extra Grip (Picture E)
The extra grip (4) can be moved to different positions, so that you can adjust the angle
to suit your individual requirements.
1. Press together the two release buttons on the extra grip and hold them down.
2. Move the extra grip to the position you want.
3. Let go of the release buttons to fi x the extra grip in the chosen position. CAUTION!
The extra grip must engage in one of the specifi ed steps!
Adjusting the Cutting Angle (Picture F)
The cutting head (11) can be moved to different positions, so that you can adjust the
angle to suit your individual requirements. The angle can be adjusted from 0° to 60° in
15° increments.
1. Press together the two release buttons on the cutting head and hold them down.
2. Move the cutting head to the position you want.
3. Let go of the release buttons to fi x the cutting head in the chosen position. CAUTION!
The cutting head must engage in one of the specifi ed steps!
Switching to Edge Trimmer (Picture G1 + G2)
To be able to turn the device into an edge trimmer, the cutting angle must be at 0°.
1. Pull back the release button and hold it in this position.
2. Turn the cutting head (11) 90° to the left or right.
3. Let go of the release button to fi x the cutting head in this position. CAUTION!
The cutting head must engage in the respective step!

Inserting / Detaching the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!

Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts are clean and clean
them if necessary.
• Inserting: Slide the charged battery onto the socket (3) on the handle (2) (Picture H).
When you do this, make sure that it fi ts correctly on the contacts. You must hear the
battery engage in place.
• Detaching: To detach the battery, press together the two release buttons on the
battery and pull it out.
