OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
Step 1. Measure the rice using the cup provided.
The level marks on the cup are in increments of 180ml
which is one full cup of rice.
Step 2. Rinse the rice in a separate bowl to insure hygienic safety.
The water should become relatively clear
Step 3. Place rinsed rice in the cooking liner pan and add water
according to one of the two following measuring options:

Fill liner pan with desired amount of rice.
Then add amount of cups of water until the
level meets the level mark in the liner pan.
Step 4. Place the cooking pan liner with the
rice into the cooker and position it on
the heater bottom by gently turning
the pan left and right. Cover with the
lid and allow the rice to soak for
approximately 30 minutes.
Step 4
If the pan is not in the cooker,
cooking will not begin.

Using the measuring cup
Raw rice by 180ml cup
Water to add
30 cups........................................... 30 ⁄ cups
20 cups........................................... 20 ⁄ cups
10 cups........................................... 10 ⁄ cups
5 cups..............................................5 ⁄ cups
Step 5. Plug the cooker in and press the cooking
lever down to initiate cooking. The red
"cooking" light will come on
and cooking will begin.
Step 6. When rice is done, the switch will pop
up and the red "cooking" light goes out.
After cooking cycle is complete, make
sure to leave the lid closed for
15 minutes. This allows the rice to rest
properly in the remaining steam.

Step 7. Unplug the cooker after using.
Grasp the plug, not the line cord.

• Make sure the pan is sitting properly in the cooker.
• If the pan is not positioned correctly, the switch may
click o too soon or the heater may be damaged.
• Your rice cooker has been designed with a
thermal fuse which may shut the heater o
in these cases
• Be sure the switch is off before removing the pan.

• Replace all damaged parts immediately.

• Do not leave the lid down-side up in places
subjected to direct sunlight
• If direct light is subjected to the concave side of
the lid, it may focus on furniture, walls, etc., and
damages may result.

• Do not tilt the rice-cooker on its edge or place it
upside down with its power supply connected, as
this may cause damage.
How to Clean
a. Unplug unit
b. Soak liner pan in hot water to loosen cooked-on rice
c. Wipe with damp soft cloth or sponge.
d. Non-stick coated pan may discolor with age. This is normal.
e. DO NOT use metal utensils with non-stick coated pan.
f. Use only the soft plastic spatula provided.
Never use abrasive cleaners or cleaning utensils.
