II. INSTRUCTIONS (English version)
INTRODUCTION :
This Laser Centering Unit is specially designed to show
cross lines at about 2" distance; it will easily assist you
in finding the tool center on any milling and drilling ma-
chines in seconds. You can also use it as an edge finder.

THE SET INCLUDES :

HOW TO FIND THE CENTER :
1.
Take the Laser Centering Unit (LCU) out and check if
the battery is good by switching it on. The switch light
should be on. If not, the battery is dead and should
be replaced.
2.
Check the chuck size on your machine and select
the correct chuck. Put the LCU in and tighten.
3.
Fix yout work piece which has been marked with the
center point on the work table of your machine. Keep
the distance about 2" (50 mm) between the laser
gun and the work piece center point.
4.
Turn off the laser and take the LCU out of the chuck.
5.
Put your tool into the chuck and tighten it.
WARNING :
The Laser Centering Unit has been adjusted to the focus
point before being shipped to you, do not try to adjust the
screws by yourself. It is a delicate unit, so be careful to not
drop it on the floor. Handle with care.
SAFETY WARNING :
Even though the laser strength is lower than 5 micro watts,
do not point the laser at anybody's eye or look at it di-
rectly.

HOW TO FIND THE EDGE :
1.
Take the Laser Centering Unit (LCU) out and check if
the battery is good by switching it on. The switch light
should be on. If not, the battery is dead and should

2.
Check the chuck size on your machine and select the
correct chuck. Put the LCU in and tighten.
3.
Fix your work piece which has been marked with the
edge line on the work table. Keep the distance about
2" (50mm) between the laser gun and the work piece
surface. Turn the laser on, and then use one of the
cross lines to match with your work piece edge line.
4.
Turn off the laser and take the LCU out of the chuck.
5.
Put your tool into the chuck and tighten it.
