Failure to observe instructions could result in personal injury,
item damage, and/or property damage. Keep this manual
WARNING
• ALWAYS stay clear of the lifting load.
• NEVER lift loads over people or in close proximity to people.
• NEVER use this magnet to lift, support or transport people.
• DO NOT leave suspended loads unattended.
• DO NOT hoist a load weighing more than the lift's rated
weight capacity.
• ALWAYS make sure that the supporting structure and load
attaching devices (i.e. crane, chains, and hooks) are rated to
support the weight of the magnet and load.
• NEVER lift more than one item at a time.
• The location of the lifting surface should be such to permit a leveled
load once suspended.
• NEVER lift a load by its narrowest side/dimension.
• Keep lifter perfectly flat and parallel on the surface of the load.
• Keep magnetic load lifter and surface of the load clean and free
of debris.
• Protect pole surfaces from rust after use by treating with oil.
• Store magnet in a dry environment.
• Monitor the magnetic surface over time to make sure it is flat and
not damaged from use.

• DO NOT attempt to engage the magnetic lift before resting it on the
lifting load.
• DO NOT hoist the load before locking the handle in the "ON"
position and making sure the release handle is not interfering with
the load.
• DO NOT hoist a load if it is flexing and/or unbalanced.
• DO NOT hoist a load before ensuring perfect magnetic contact. This
may require a test lift of a couple of inches.
• DO NOT disengage the lift magnet without firmly setting down
the load on the floor or support and making sure the load is
completely stable.
• DO NOT place the lift magnet directly onto a grounded floor. Use a
non-conductive spacer.
• DO NOT center the lift magnet by striking the sides of the lift with
a hammer or other blunt instrument.
• DO NOT operate a lift magnet that is missing parts, damaged, or
malfunctioning.
• DO NOT attempt to open, repair, or modify this lifter. If there is any
difficulty lifting a load, contact Global Industrial at 1-800-645-2986
