2. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

These basic precautions should always be followed, including the following safety

instructions when using this device. Read all instructions before using this equip-
ment.
1. It is important to read this entire manual before using the equipment. Safe and effective use can only
be achieved if the equipment is maintained and used properly. It is your responsibility to ensure that
all users of the equipment are informed of all warnings and precautions.
2. Keep children away from the packaging material of the product, there is a risk of suffocation.
3. Attention! This device is not suitable for people with medical implants such as a pacemaker or other
electronic medical devices. Their function could be impaired.
4. Do not use the device during pregnancy or if you think you may be pregnant.
5. Use the device on a firm, level and non-slippery surface.
6. Only step on the intended stand area and not on the actual display.
7. Caution! Danger of Slipping! Do not use the device if its surface is damp or your feet are wet.
8. Caution! Risk of Falling! Do not stand on one side on the outer edge of the scale.
9. Make sure that small children and pets are kept away from the device to avoid injury.
10. The individual components of this device must not be disassembled, converted or repaired.
11. Please note that there may be measurement variables due to technical reasons (0-60kg: ± 300g,
60-120kg: ± 400g, 120-180kg: ± 500g), as the device is not a scale that has been calibrated
for professional medical use.
12. The safety of the equipment can only be maintained if it is regularly examined for damage and/or
wear and tear. Repairs may only be carried out by specialist personnel.
13. Always use the equipment as indicated. If you find any defective components while assembling or
checking the equipment, or if you hear any unusual noises coming from the equipment during use,
stop immediately. Do not use the equipment until the problem has been rectified.
14. This product is intended for private use and is not suitable for medical, therapeutic or commercial
