Power cable connectors
Read the user manual completely and carefully. It is part of the product and inclu-
des important information for proper installation and use. Keep this user manual
for clarification and only pass it on together with the product.

For the installation in particular the following expertise is necessary:
The appropriate "5 safety rules":
- Deenergize; secure against restarting; determine deener-
gizing; Grounding and short circuiting;

Cover energized neighbouring parts or provide it with barriers;
•
Selection of the suitable tool, the measuring instruments and
if necessary the personal protection equipment;
•
Evaluation of the measurement results;
•
Selection of the electricity installation material for the secu-
ring of the switching off conditions;
•
IP enclosures;
•
Installation of the electrical installation material;
•
Kind of the supply network (TN-system, IT-system,
TT-system) and the electrical operating conditions following
from it
•
(classical protective grounding, protective grounding, neces-
sary additional measures, etc.).

Neutral conductor; LIve wire - connected to the neutral point of an
electrical supply system (blue / light grey)

Earth conductor; electrical conductor for protecting against electric shock
(green-yellow / red)

Phase conductor; Live wire - electrical conductor (black-brown)

Power cable connectors are used for watertight junction or distribution of power
supply outdoors.

Intended use
IP68
This product is dust-proof against touch and protected against
continuous immersion in water.
Connection and installation
1.
Disconnect the cables before working on the product, disconnect the
fuse and secure it against being switched on again.
2.
Ensure that there is no voltage before working on the product and check this.
3.
Unscrew the product parts for assembly.
4.
Strip the power cables to be connected.
5.
Slide a sleeve on each mounting side and, if present, the mounting
adapter in the correct orientation over the power cords.
6.
Connect the yellow-green protective conductor on the input and output
side to the cable clamp through the screw terminals.
7.
Connect the other two conductors on the input and output side of the
screw terminal through the screw terminals.
8.
Firmly screw the product parts together to ensure contact and water
protection.
9.
Check the correct implementation and installation.
10.
Turn the fuse back on.
