Operation
a) Filling butane gas
Keep the hot-gas burner away from fire and other heat sources while filling it. Only
fill the hot-gas burner after it has cooled down completely!
Make sure that the room is properly vented.
Do not ignite the hot-gas burner immediately after filling. Butane gas is heavier than
air and will remain on the ground for some time.
Never press the ignite button while filling the burner.
• Butane gas (lighter gas) is required to refill the hot-gas
burner. Shake the gas can a few times before inserting
the refill needle.
• Hold the hot-gas burner upside down by the handle (6).
Insert the needle on the butane gas can into the refill
valve's opening (7) to start filling the cylinder.
• The cylinder holds between 10 - 12 ml of butane gas. Stop
refilling as soon as the gas overflows.
• Wipe away any spillage gas with a clean cloth. Wait
approximately 2-3 minutes before igniting the flame.
b) Application
• Before igniting the flame, the air flow regulator (1) must be between the "Jet" marking and
middle position. The flame will not ignite at the "Flame" position.
• Press down the push button (3) to ignite the flame. When you release the button, it jumps
back automatically to its starting position and the flame goes out. It can take up to 2-3 seconds
for the flame to go out as a small amount of residual gas may be left in the flame nozzle (4).
• Press and hold the push button and slide the a fixing switch (5) back to the lock position
to switch the hot-gas burner to continuous operation. Slide the fixing switch back to end
continuous operation. The push button releases automatically when released. The flame
goes out after a short time.
• Set the flame size using the flame regulator (2). Turn the control knob toward "OPEN" to
increase the flame size and away from the arrow to reduce the flame size. When the flame
falls below approx. 10 mm in length, it goes out.
Yellow-red (Flame)
• You can change the flame colour using the air flow regulator (1). The flame colour may be set
between blue (arrow direction "Jet") to a natural red-yellow (arrow direction "Flame"). Turn the
air flow regulator in the desired direction.
• Please note that the flame will not go out immediately after releasing the push button, but
only after about 2-3 seconds. Only then place the hot gas burner on its base (8) and allow it
to cool down sufficiently.
