Before installing the aluminium tubes and the fl exible tube, check that a sealing ring has been inserted
in each screw socket. lf not, insert the sealing ring in the following manner:
Press: one small sealing ring (23) into each of the threaded sleeves in the three aluminium tubes.
(13/14/15) and one large sealing ring (21) into the threaded sleeve on the fl exible tube (20).
Assembling the aluminium tubes:
Bottom tube (no rib)
Mount the tubes onto the pump pressure connection (2). lf necessary, use a suitable tool to pull the alu-
minium tube connecting elements in order to prevent water from leaking.
Securing the mains cable: Secure the mains connection cable (12) to the cable clamp (19) on the
plastic hook (22) and on the middle aluminium tube (14).
Mounting the height adjustment for the fl oat
switch:
Loosen the screw on the fl oat switch height adjust-
ment (4) and push this over the fl oat switch guide
(5) . Then guide the fl oat switch cable (3) upwards.
lf you want to make use of the maximum pumping
capacity of the pump rather than the maximum di-
scharge height, we recommend that you fi t a 3/4"
connecting tube, mounting it directly on the pump,
without alumini um tube or shut-off top. The larger
cross-section of the hose will enable a greater volu-
me of water to be pumped. At the same time, the
potential discharge height will be correspondingly
lower.
