7. Troubleshooting
The following section describes potential problems and their causes. For

Problems:
7.1 "HOLD" appears on the LCD every time you press a button.
Reason: The player is in Hold mode. Deactivate the HOLD function using the
HOLD button.
7.2 The battery lifetime is too short.
Reason: You might not be using an alkaline battery.
7.3 The sound quality is very poor.
Reason: Make sure that the earphones are connected properly.
