5. Initial use
Check if the product and the components are intact and if the appliance is working
properly when using it for the first time Remove the appliance out of the packaging
and connect it to a properly installed earthed socket.
Wipe the surface of the appliance using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any
manufacturing residues, wipe the water tank once thoroughly before using it for
the first time.
Do not operate the appliance unattended and check it for damage and proper as-
sembly before using it each time.
6. Usage
Making ice cubes
• Open the lid of the appliance and remove the ice-collector.
• Fill the ice cube maker now with water. Ensure that you do not exceed the
maximum mark. Use only drinking water without additives for making ice
cubes.
Note: As far as possible, use water with a temperature of 8°C to 25°C.
Then replace the ice collector and close the lid of the appliance.
• Then press the "ON/OFF" button to start the appliance. The freezing
process takes approximately 7 to 10 minutes.
