SpotClip-II
General informations
SpotClip-II is a unique product that has been developed for mounting downlights in
dry mortarless construction and acoustic construction applications.
The innovative, 4-leg ceiling brace has a number of outstanding features and is suitable
for use in plasterboard.
It reduces the risk of damage being caused to any insulation material as a result of over-
heating and heat accumulation.
Safety instructions
• Insulation around the SpotClip-II definitely must be non-combustible. Check your
local regulations and installation instructions of the down light manufacturer.
• If a vapour barrier is used, this must be fireproof.
• The SpotClip-II is only suitable for downlight application. This is not made to protect
transformers.
Compatibility bulb / insulation:
• Available inside height is 90 mm.
• Please also read instructions supplied with the downlight. If you have any doubt,
please contact a professional. A defective installation or disrespect of safety advise
could cause fire.
• Please retain this document.
• If the downlight has a side wires fixing element, and only in this case, break one of
the winglets.
• Check that the SpotClip-II is correctly in position (4 legs fixed securely) and is not
removed before assembling the bulb.
