7. CORRECT DRIVING
PARKING METHOD
1. Please signal when you enter a parking space.
1. Turn on the steering light, watch the rear and side of the vehicle and move the vehicle slowly.
2. Hold the steering handle and use front and rear brakes in advance.
2. When the vehicle is at a complete halt, turn off the ignition and turn the key to "OFF".
3. When stopped, stand to the left, lower the stand and lift the vehicle with both hands.
NOTE: Do not stop the vehicle on a slope to prevent rolling. If the vehicle does not stay stable, use the stand.
To protect the vehicle from theft, engage the anti-theft lock and remove the key.
NOTE: Do not place children or items on the pedal. Observe traffic rules and observe a safe speed.
CHARGE AND MAINTENANCE OF STORAGE BATTERY
The supplied battery for this vehicle is a sealed lead-acid battery. Its operational temperature range is between 15°C and 45°C.
If the temperature is too low, the efficient capacity will be affected; if the temperature is too high, the life span will be affected. It is
normal that the full charge is reduced in cold regions or during winter. Functionality is restored if the temperature rises above 20°C.
The battery is the vital component to ensure the good vehicle performance, so please be aware of its use and safety. Do not let the
lowest power exceed the minimum allowable voltage and please recharge immediately when the low power indicator comes on.
To expand the service life of the battery, daily charging is required.
USE AND MAINTENANCE OF CHARGER
1. Please check whether the rated input voltage (220V AC) of the charger is compatible with the rated mains voltage.
2. The battery can be charged directly on the tricycle.
3. First connect the output plug of the charger to the charging connector on the battery.
Then put the input plug of the charger into the AC power supply. If power is connected, the red light indicator will come on.
This procedure cannot be done in reverse order.
4. The illuminated red light indicates that the battery is charging, while an illuminated green light shows that battery is full charged.
The charging time is about 8-10 hours (the length of charge depends on how much the power is remaining.)
5. Charging time should not exceed 12 hours, except in exceptional circumstances, or the battery will be damaged.
CHARGING NOTES
• Please store the charger out of the reach of children when charging.
• Please do not use the vehicle when it is not fully charged, or the life span of the battery will be effected.
• The capacity of the battery needs to be suitable for the charger.
• Please only use the original charger for charging purposes.
• As the charger contains high-voltage circuits, please do not dismantle it yourself.
• Store away from liquid and metal particles to avoid damage, and do not drop or knock.
• The charger should not be covered in charging mode.
• This charger is designed solely for indoor use and should be used only in a dry environment.
• If an unfamiliar smell occurs or if the charging temperature is excessive, disconnect immediately and return for servicing.
USE AND MAINTENANCE OF MOTOR AND CONTROLLER
• Inspect if the caps on both sides of the motor become loose over time.
• Inspect if the motor wires are protected by the motor casing over time.
• Inspect if the controller wires become loose over time.
• Inspect if the fuse becomes loose over time.
