Remote release and
self-portrait mirror for TLC200

Intended use
The remote release as well as the self-portrait mirror serves as accessories for the time-lapse camera
TLC200 in order to take the best pictures of yourself. Thereby, the self-portrait mirror is used to bring yourself
in the correct position. The remote release is used to trigger the camera without causing blurred pictures.
Any use other than that described above is not permitted and can damage the product.
This product complies with the applicable national and European regulations.

In the operating manual, an exclamation mark inside a triangle indicates important in-
structions.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the device.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume any liability for damage to property and injury to persons
caused by mishandling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,
the warranty will be null and void.
General safety instructions
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the
product are not permitted.
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical loads.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental falls, even
from a low height.
• If you have any doubts about the correct operation, or the safety of the product, please consult
a specialist.
• This product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Only use the product
out of the reach of children. Small parts of the product could be swallowed.
• Condensation may form when the product is brought from a cold room into a warm one.
Therefore, wait until it has reached room temperature before using it.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It could become a dangerous toy for children.
• Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.

Installation of self-portrait mirror and remote release of the time-lapse
camera TLC200
• Remove the protective foil on the back of the metal ring
provided
• Clean the lens of the time lapse camera and make sure
there is no more dust on the surface of the lens
• Place the metal ring onto the lens edge and carefully press it down
• There is a magnet on the self portrait mirror (2). You can now attach the self-portrait mirror to the metal ring
on the lens of the time lapse camera
• Connect the remote release's TRC connector (3) to

• Switch the time lapse camera on

• The shutter mode is shown in the display of the time lapse
camera
• Press the OK button on the time lapse camera to enter the preview screen
Alignment of the self-portrait mirror
• Look at the target point (A)
• Place the vertical line in the middle of your face (C), above
the bridge of the nose
• Align your mouth and chin to the horizontal line (B)
Operation of remote release
• In order to always keep the same position of the head,
please remember to maintain the same distance every
time you take a photo.
• To capture a picture, press the remote release button (1)
for 1 second and then wait for 5 seconds
Completion
• Press the OK button on the time lapse camera for 2 sec-
onds to stop the capturing
• You can now remove the SD card from the camera and in-
sert it into your computer or laptop to save your time lapse
video
Maintenance and care
The devices are maintenance free. Clean the exterior of the device only with a soft, dry cloth or a brush.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these could damage the surfaces of the hous-
ings.
