HEPA filter
INTENDED USE
Thank you for purchasing this Sensede HEPA air purifier. It is designed to filter out pollutants and dust from
the air in your home. This appliance operates on 220-240V, 50Hz (mains electricity). Never try to connect
the device to other power sources. Please always follow the safety instructions in this manual. Keep this
instruction manual in a safe place so that it is available at all times. This product complies with regulatory,
national and European requirements. Never try to make technical modifications to this device. We do
not accept liability for accidents or damages resulting from failure to follow these operating and safety
instructions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) air purifier effectively captures pollutants from the air passing
through its filter. The filter unit will normally need to be replaced every 3000 hours of operation* (compatible
filter: IFC100). This appliance is also equipped with an integrated ioniser.
BEFORE YOU START
Please carefully read the safety instructions on the front page of this manual before
getting started.
PLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION
1. Select a level surface that provides sufficient distance (>30 cm) between the appliance and any walls
and other objects.
2. Unpack the HEPA filter (IFC100). Detach the front panel and securely push the unpacked filter unit in
the appropriate slot. The light-coloured side should face forward.
3. If needed, install a CR2025 battery in the remote control.
4. Plug in the device. The ON/OFF light will blink.
SWITCHING ON THE APPLIANCE
The appliance can be switched on and off with the ON/OFF touch button on the device, or the ON/OFF button
on the remote control. After switching on the appliance, the AIR PURIFIED and the ON/OFF button will light
up.
SETTINGS
This appliance offers three filtration modes:
1. SLEEP - Low noise mode, low-intensity filtration
2. AIR PURIFIED - Normal speed, advised for daily use
3. SMOKE REMOVE - High-speed filtration, use for short durations only*
* Example of use: directly after smokers have used the space.
AIR IONISER
The integrated air ioniser can be activated by touching the ANION button. The air ioniser helps
remove dust particles from the air. After activating the ANION function a soft whir
may be audible.
TIMER FUNCTION
Touch buttons
The timer function allows you to switch on the appliance for a set number of hours.
The appliance will automatically shut down after the set time has passed. Touch the
TIMER button on the remote to set the timer to 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours.
FILTER MAINTENANCE

Filter replacement
The HEPA filter (IFC100) has a life span of approximately 3000 hours of normal operation. Replace the filter
every 3000 hours of use, every 12 months, or when it shows signs of severe contamination/ discolouration.
Filter lifespan may be shortened by high-pollution operating conditions (fireplace soot, kitchen fumes, cigarette
smoke, etc.).

Regular maintenance
- Gently clean the filter surface with a vacuum cleaner every two months. This removes lint/dust build-up on
the filter exterior and prevents it from getting clogged. Be careful not to damage the filter.
Replace the filter if you accidentally damage it (holes/tears).
- Optionally place the back of the filter (black side) in direct sunlight for approximately 3-4 hours every
two months. This will enhance performance.
- The HEPA filter cannot be washed and should not be cleaned with water, detergents, solvents or
other chemicals.

CLEANING
Dust accumulated around the device air openings can be removed with a vacuum cleaner. If necessary, also
wipe off the exterior of the appliance with a microfibre cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives.
Always unplug
the device before cleaning.
DISPOSAL OF THE DEVICE
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection
facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. When replacing
old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposal
free of charge.
LIMITED 2-YEAR WARRANTY
ABD guarantees your appliance against material and fabrication faults for two years after your initial purchase.
Should material or fabrication faults be found, ABD will repair or replace the device with a similar or better-specified
product. Damage to the device due to any form of negligence, accident, lack of cleaning and maintenance, or other
use or abuse that can reasonably be considered to be in conflict with the directions described in these instructions,
does not fall under this warranty. Furthermore, legal provisions with respect to consumer purchases apply. In the
event of a fault, we advise you to return the product together with the original proof of purchase to the store where
you bought it. When the defect in the device is caused by anything other than material or fabrication faults, you
may be charged for examination and repair costs.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The device cannot be switched on
- Make sure the device is plugged in.
- Check if the front cover is installed correctly.
There is almost no airflow
- Check the filter - make sure it is unpacked, installed correctly.
- Clean the air openings and HEPA filter with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust deposits.
- Replace the filter if it appears severely polluted.
The device is noisy
- Check the filter - make sure it is unpacked, installed correctly.
- Make sure the device is placed on a stable, level surface.
- You may notice be a soft electronic buzz when the air ionizer is on. This is normal.
There is an electronic buzz when the ANION function is switched on
-This is normal. The air ionizer applies a charge to dust particles in the air.
The device no longer removes odours and smoke from the air, but the filter has not yet been used
for 3000 hours
- The filter life span can be shorter than 3000 hours under conditions of intensive use, especially if the device
is regularly used in the presence of tobacco smoke. Check the filter condition and replace it if necessary.
