Descaling
After using the appliance for a while, limescale may deposit on the heating
element (depending on the hardness of the water used). Limescale deposits can
significantly reduce the performance of the appliance. They must be removed
regularly.
CAUTION – MATERIAL DAMAGE!

Do not use commercial descaling agents, acetic acid or vinegar essence.
Simply pour 50 ml of white table vinegar and 100 ml of boiling water into
the appliance and allow it to take effect for approx. 30 minutes.

Do not exceed the recommended time. This will not result in better descaling
but rather in permanent damage to the appliance.
After 30 minutes, pour the vinegar solution out of the appliance.
Rinse with clear water twice.
Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Storage
Let the appliance cool down completely before putting it away.
Store the appliance in a dry location.
Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
The symbol shown on the left of a crossed-out wheelie bin means that this
appliance is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU.
This directive states that this appliance may not be disposed of in normal house-
hold waste at the end of its useful life, but must be taken to a specially set-up
collection point, recycling depot or disposal company.
This disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect the environ-
ment and dispose of this appliance properly.
You can obtain further information from your local disposal company or the city
or local authority.
