OVERVIEW
The WaveLinx Wallstation is an integral part of the
WaveLinx Wireless Connected Lighting System and
is available in several configurations. These battery
powered wallstations are multi-scene, single area
dimming wallstation which provides customized
light level for each area. The wallstations operate on
a mesh wireless network based on IEEE 802.15.4
standards.
The wallstation mounts to a wall and includes a
decorator style color matching wallplate. Each
wallstation is fully configurable to provide local and
multi-level control in each area. Each button is
configured to control a lighting scene for an area and
can be modified using the WaveLinx Mobile
Application.

INSTALLATION
Install the WaveLinx Wallstation surface mount kit to a
wall surface using the 2 screw holes. Alternatively,
double-sided tape may be used (i.e. for installation on
glass surfaces). Ensure that the Cooper Lighting
Solutions label is facing up.
Attach the wireless wallstation (complete with faceplate)
to the WaveLinx wallstation surface mount kit until it
snaps in place (fully seated typically 2-3 clicks).

INSTALLATION NOTES
Consult the Cooper Lighting Solutions website at www.
cooperlighting.com for the most up-to-date version of the
wireless system design guide and install this product
according to the guidelines.
The WaveLinx Wallstation is to be installed in dry, indoor
locations ONLY. Do not install the WaveLinx Wallstation in
damp locations. Damp locations are defined as: interior
locations subject to moderate degrees of moisture, such
as basements, barns, cold-storage warehouses, as well
as partially protected locations under canopies,
marquees and open roofed porches.

TROUBLESHOOTING
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the
WaveLinx Wallstation. Please return the device to
Cooper Lighting Solutions if service is required.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
For battery replacement, separate WaveLinx wallstation
from surface mount kit by inserting wire into release
mechanism hole located at base of cover plate. To
replace wallstation, see installation section.

Four AAA alkaline batteries are provided with the
WaveLinx wallstation surface mount kit. When replacing
these batteries, use only alkaline or lithium (UL approved)
type batteries. Install the batteries according to the
battery compartment markings.

Keep away from children. Do not disassemble and

end of its life cycle in accordance with local

This equipment has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to
part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates,
uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in
which case the user will be required to correct the
interference at his own expense.

DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL

INSTALACIÓN

WaveLinx Wallstation no contiene piezas interiores que

REEMPLAZO DE LA BATERÍA
Para reemplazar la batería separe la WaveLinx
