Make sure that the voltage rating on the typeplate corresponds to your main voltage.
For a proper and effective use of this fryer, please read these instructions thoroughly before
use. Be sure to keep these instructions.
• Check that the voltage of the appliance is same as the voltage of the network (alternating
current only).
• Because of the different existing standards, if you use the appliance in an other country than
the one you bought it, bring it to an authorized retailer to be controled.
• Use a stable counter away from splashes of water.
• Do not place the appliance near a heat source (insulating areas in plastic material could be
seriously damaged).
• Never operate the fryer without oil / fat.
• Do not operate the appliance without supervising.
• Keep children away from the appliance.
• Always plug the appliance to a socket connected to the earth.
• Do not pull the cord to unplug.
• Do not operate the appliance with an oil level under the minimum level or above the maximum
level.
• Do not overfill the frying basket, especially with frozen food, to avoid overflowing.
• When an electrical appliance is heating, high temperatures may cause burns.
• Do not touch metallic areas of the fryer. Do not put your hand over the lid of the filter when the
fryer is operating. The steam is very hot.
• Unplug the appliance if it does not operate correctly, after use or before any cleaning or
maintenance.
• Do not move the fryer when the lid is open and the oil / fat is still very hot. Hold the fryer by the
handling areas.
• Often filter the oil. Small pieces of food falling out of the filter basket may burn and spoil the
fat quicker. It increases risks of flammation.
• Change the oil as soon as it is no more clean or when you fry different kinds of food (e.g. fish /
chips). The oil should be changed every 7 or 8 uses in order to keep the food taste.
• If the oil catches fire, close the lid to stop the fire.
• Never try to stop the fire with water !
• Never immerse the fryer into water !
