SUSPENSION SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT AND
FINE-TUNING
In order to adjust the suspension system, put on your
backpack with a full load and proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the shoulder straps and the load positioning
straps.
2. Put on the pack and close the hipbelt. The hipbelt
should sit snugly on the top of your pelvic girdle.
Also see section "Height Adjustment of the Hipbelt".
3. Now lean over into your riding position and slowly
tighten the shoulder straps so that they fit comfort-
ably at the shoulders and the pack doesn't ride up
when you bend forward.
4. Tighten the load positioning straps on the shoulder
straps and close and tighten the sternum strap until
a slight resistance is felt.
