Additional system
information
The Moocall HEAT system is designed to harness the bull's natural instincts
to ascertain if a cow is in heat or not. If your bull is lazy or lame, he may
not detect as many heats as a hard-working virile bull. The Moocall HEAT
system may help you determine if the bull is lazy or lame by analyzing his
activity levels. For best results, we recommend fitting the Moocall HEAT
collar to a virile, healthy bull.
The Moocall HEAT system is designed to work with herds breeding or
detecting heat outdoors.
The Moocall HEAT system will not detect heats if the cow/heifer doesn't
have a registered Moocall RFID ear tag attached to her ear and associated
with her in Moocall Breedmanager.
While the Moocall HEAT system has proven incredibly accurate in
detecting heat during testing, Moocall takes no responsibility for missed
heats, nonviable inseminations, lame or lazy bulls or any damage or injury,
including financial, incurred in the course of using Moocall HEAT.
Appropriate caution must be taken when handling a bull!
The Moocall HEAT collar has been designed to not cause any harm or
injury to the bull. However, should you notice any inflammation, damage
or stress in the bull, remove the collar for at least 24 hours and observe the
bull to ensure he's not in any distress.
The Moocall RFID ear tags are non-transferrable. Once an ear tag has been
assigned to a cow, it cannot be reassigned.
The Moocall HEAT system is designed for bovines only. Please do not use
on any other animals.
