Setting up the machine

English is configured as the operating language and nor-
mal mode is set when delivered.
Normal mode includes the following settings:
– Program number
– Piece quantity
– Length
– Correction
You can correct the cable feed by ± 99 mm with the correc-
tion value.

The buttons of the control unit have dual assign-
ment. The functions printed in red become active
if they are pressed while the SHIFT key is held
down.

► Things to check prior to each activation:
– Is the power cable in a fault-free condition?

5.1 Changing language

To change the operating language, hold down the relevant
button simultaneously when switching on the machine.

5.2 Setting up a program

► Switch off the machine at the On/Off switch (Fig-
ure 3.2, 11).
The following appears on the display.

► Enter the required number for the new program (1–200).
► Press the ↑↓ arrow keys.
► Enter the required piece quantity (1–999,999).
► Press the ↑↓ arrow keys.
► Enter the required length in mm (1–999,999).
► Press the ↑↓ arrow keys.
► Enter the required correction value in mm (± 1 – 99).
► To save the program, press SHIFT and Enter at the
same time.
► If you want to set up additional programs, go back to the
program menu by pressing SHIFT and Enter simultane-
ously once more.
► To start the program, press Enter.
