Alphatec PREMIUM S3 Mode D'emploi

PREMIUM A models are fitted with a large PTT button on left ear cup, usable with
gloves.
This button is used to initiate radio emission for ground use, or into an airplane non
fitted with PTT button into the joystick.
After using the headset, winding the cable around the head pad without tightness,
fold down the flex boom on the right ear cup, and store it into the pouch supplied.
MAINTENANCE
Microphones are very sensitive to humidity.
Never keep the headsets in aircraft or hangar. Store it in a dry place.
Never keep the headsets into the cockpit under the sun, high temperature could
damage plastic pieces like ear seals.
You can clean the domes with a soft cloth with alcohol.
Monobloc black ear seals, made from foam are clipped onto the domes.
To remove them, take the ear seal by the inner portion and pull forward. So you
can easily clean them with soap and water. After complete drying, put ear seals in
place.
Gel ear seals are clipped too. However, they consist of two pieces : adhesive ear
seal and a rigid support. In order to protect the adhesive film, we recommend to
clean it only with a damp cloth.
By the time, gel ear seals and foam ear seals are getting hard. Noise reduction are
not so efficient. In order to keep good noise reduction, you must replace the ear
seals as soon as they are no more soft. Your comfort will be preserved too.

INSTALLATION & UTILISATION
Les serre-têtes PREMIUM S3 sont réglables en hauteur.
Après avoir positionné le serre-tête sur votre tête, vous pouvez ajuster la hauteur
du casque à votre tête, en faisant coulisser les extrémités de l'arceau métallique
dans les tubes noirs.
Les oreillettes noires en mousse, doivent être bien positionnées autour de vos
oreilles, pour garantir une bonne insonorisation.
Le bras micro souple est facilement réglable, il suffit de le tordre pour l'ajuster, en
évitant toutefois une torsion à angle droit.
Placer le micro à 3mm maximum de vos lèvres, à l'angle de la bouche.
Ceci est très important pour bénéficier au mieux de l'effet différentiel des micros.
Insérez le ou les jack du casque dans les jacks socles femelles de votre intercom.
Pour débrancher, tirer sur la prise jack. Ne jamais tirer sur le câble pour débrancher
les prises jack.
Chaque casque est équipé d'un potentiomètre pour ajuster le niveau du volume
d'écoute.
Tourner ce bouton vers l'arrière pour augmenter le volume, ou vers l'avant pour le
baisser.
