4 "AAA" Alkaline batteries are used with life expectancy at over 3 years.
•
In addition, the Smoke Detector can detect if the battery is low. If the battery voltage is low, LED
will flash accompanied with a Low-volume beep once every 30 sec and inform the Control Panel
regularly. Low Battery warning typically starts 1 month before complete exhaustion.
Note:
When changing batteries, after removing the old batteries, press the Test button twice to fully discharge
before inserting new batteries.

- Page 2 INSTALLATION PROCEDURES Step 1. Insert the 4 “AAA” batteries into the battery compartment taking care that the connection respects correct polarity showing on the battery holder. Step 2. While the 4 batteries are inserted, the Smoke Detector will sound 2 short beeps, LED start flashing and begin the 6-minute warming period.
- Page 3 To do this, • Press 10 seconds on the TEST button and hold until the LED start to flash. The SD200 will sound 2 short beeps then follow the process described in calibration process to take the new reference value.

- Page 6 • A l'issue de cette période d'avertissement local de 10 secondes, le SD200 procède à une vérification de suivi de la fumée. Si la concentration de fumée demeure alarmante, le SD200 répète 10 secondes d'avertissement local avec alarme sonore et voyant clignotant rapidement.

- Page 8 INSTALLATIONSABLÄUFE Schritt 1 : Setzen Sie die vier „AAA“ Batterien in das Batteriefach ein, achten Sie bitte auf die korrekte Polarität. Schritt 2 : Wenn die Batterien eingesetzt wurden, ertönen zwei kurze Pieptöne, die LED beginnt zu blinken und die 6 Minuten andauernde Aufwärmphase beginnt. Schritt 3 : Während dieser Aufwärmphase können sie den Rauchmelder in die Zentrale einlernen.
- Page 9 TEST RAUCHMELDER Wenn Sie die Test-Taste auf dem Rauchmelder drücken, können Sie testen, ob der Rauchmelder normal funktioniert. • Wenn der Rauchmelder normal funktioniert, schaltet sich die LED für 2 Sekunden ein und danach ertönt ein Zwei-Ton Signal. • Wenn der Summer 3 Pieptöne von sich gibt, bedeutet das, dass die „Optische Kammer" des Rauchermelders entweder verschmutzt oder außer Betrieb ist.
- Page 10 INSTALLATIONSHINWEIS • Als Installationsort wird die Mitte der Zimmerdecke empfohlen. • Plazieren Sie den Rauchmelder nicht an den folgenden Orten: Der Küche – Rauch vom Kochen kann unerwünschten Alarm auslösen. Nähe eines Ventilators, einer fluoreszierenden Lampe oder eines Klimaanlagegerätes - Luftzüge könnten die Sensibilität des Rauchmelders beeinflussen. Neben dem Deckenbalken oder über einem Schrank - die verbrauchte Luft in diesen Bereichen könnten die Sensibilität des Rauchmelders beeinflussen.
