Upon receiving your wine cellar, leave the door open for 24 hours. When cleaning the inside of the
wine cellar, you can use a solution of tablespoon of baking soda to one (1) quart of water, or a mild
soap suds solution, or some mild detergent. Do not use solvents or abrasive products.
Wash the plastic cover of the shelves with a solution of warm water and a neutral detergent then rinse
and dry correctly. The wooden shelves does not require cleaning.
STORING YOUR WINE COOLER
If you intend not to use the wine cellar for short periods of time, leave the control panel at its usual
settings.
During longer periods of absences :
•
Remove bottles from the wine cellar
•
Unplug the wine cellar from the electrical outlet
•
Thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the wine cellar
•
Leave the door open to avoid possible formations of condensation, mold or odors.
IF YOU HAVE TO MOVE YOUR WINE COOLER
Remove ALL bottles from the wine cellar and securely fasten down all loose items inside the wine
cellar. To avoid damaging the levelling legs, turn them all the way into the base of the unit.
Move the appliance in vertical position or note, from the exterior packaging symbols, the side it can be
layed down.
WHAT TO DO REGARDING POWER FAILURE ?
Most power failures are corrected within a short period of time. An hour or two loss of power will not
affect your wine cellar temperatures. To protect your wines while the power is off, you should minimize
the number of door openings. For power failures of longer durations, take steps to protect your wine.

Before contacting your local after sales service, please check the following items :

There is not a power failure

The thermostat is not on "0".
