Description and Function

2.1 Product
The USB Ethernet converter provides a high performance fast Ethernet connec-
tion. It enables low cost, small form factor, and simple plug-and-play Fast Ethernet
network connection capability for desktops, notebooks, PCs, Apple Mac books,
Ultrabooks and tablets.
• No external power adaptor needed
• Extremely low power consumption
• USB network connection means there is no need to open PC
housing

„Description and Function". Use the product only in dry interior rooms.
Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause
fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

4.2 Installation and Settings for Windows
This product does not require any driver for installation. The installation
will start automatically when connencting the ethernet converter with
the computer. The device is displayed in „Device Manager" once the
installationis completed (see fig. 8).

If the network obtains the IP address automatically, you will be able to
connect to network as shown in the next picture (see Fig. 9).

cable not be damaged.
Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons
cannot be injured, or objects not be damaged for example by drop-
ping or stumbling.

Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
Compare the specifications of all equipment to be used and ensure
compatibility
Plug a high-quality Ethernet cable into the RJ45 LAN port (1) of
the network converter and the other end of the cable to a network
device (e. g. HUB, router, switch).
Plug the USB connector (4) into a free USB port (depending on the
available type) of your notebook / PC.
After installation click .../Control Panel / Network and
Internet / Netzwork Connection... to view the new internet
connection.
To set IP address manually double click the network logo and
follow the steps as shown in Fig. 10 a. and b.
