Bluetooth 4.0 USB-C™ stick

Intended use
This product is designed to be connected to a USB-C™ port on a computer (or to a USB-C™
hub connected to a computer). It functions as a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver to create
a wireless connection with another Bluetooth device. It supports a wide range of Bluetooth
protocols. The product allows you to connect your computer to other Bluetooth-compatible
devices (e.g. a scanner). It also enables wireless file transfers between compatible devices.
Peripheral devices (e.g. a mouse, keyboard or printer) can be connected. You can also listen
to music wirelessly (e.g. via Bluetooth headphones or speakers). Power is supplied by the USB
port on the computer to which the product is connected.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties together with
its operating instructions.

Setup
• Connect the USB-C™ stick to a USB-C port on your computer. A status LED indicates the
activation, connection status and standby status.
• This product is a Plug and Play device. Bluetooth will be enabled on your computer. The
required drivers are automatically located and installed if necessary.
• Turn on your Bluetooth device and ensure that it is discoverable to other nearby Bluetooth
devices so that your computer can recognize it.
• Pair the device with your computer. The pairing procedure may vary depending on your
operating system and system requirements. Refer to the instructions for your operating
system or software.
Installing the drivers/software
To use the full range of functions provided by the USB-C™ stick, install the software
on the CD-ROM provided. Uninstall the pre-installed Windows
before installing the drivers on the CD-ROM.
• Insert the CD into the CD drive on your computer. If the installation software does not start
automatically, start it manually from the main directory of the CD ("Run setup.exe"). Follow
the onscreen instructions to install the drivers (a restart may be required).
• After you have installed the software, connect the USB-C™ stick to a USB-C™ port on your
computer and pair it with a Bluetooth device.
Tips and useful information
• The strength of the Bluetooth connection will decrease the further the Bluetooth stick is from
the connected device. Data transfer is generally slower at longer ranges. The connection will
be lost if the range is exceeded, or if there are obstacles.
• Connecting multiple Bluetooth devices to the same USB-C™ stick may lead to an unstable
connection. For example, if you connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones and another
Bluetooth device to the same stick, music playback may be intermittent.
