handling. Before using the chainsaw for the first time,
users should be instructed by the seller or any other
qualified person on how to use the chainsaw. Users
must ensure they are instructed adequately and
practically. The instruction manual is considered an
integral part of the chainsaw and must always be made
available alongside the product.
Familiarize yourself with the control devices and use of
the chainsaw. In particular, the user must know how to
quickly stop the equipment and the combustion engine.
Do not use the chainsaw if you are not both physically
and mentally well. Do not use it while you are tired or
under the influence of medication, drugs or alcohol.

Petrol fueling and handling

Petrol is toxic and highly flammable. Keep petrol only in
jerry cans designed and approved for this purpose.
Never use bottles or similar to remove or store service
products such as fuel. Someone, particularly children,
may be mistakenly taken to drink them.
Always screw and tighten tank caps and fuel containers.
This reduces the risk of fuel spillage. Defective caps
must be replaced.
Keep petrol away from sparks, flames, heat
sources or other ignition sources. Do not smoke
near petrol containers and chainsaws with petrol on the
tank, or during the fueling process.
Refill and empty the fuel tank outdoors only. Petrol
fueling shall be carried out before the combustion
engine is running and the chainsaw shall be placed on
the ground of a level surface.
