4.3 Adjusting the panning range
Should the max. panning range be used, draw off both limiting
clips (3) from the turntable. Then the change of the panning
direction in automatic operation mode will only be done via the
switching device (4) at the turntable: The switching device
pushes against the reversing switch (5) after a turning angle of
355°. Then the panning direction changes.
Should the panning range be limited, please proceed as follows:
1) Switch on the connected devices (camera, monitor, control
device).
2) Draw off both limiting clips (3) from the turntable.
3) Let the camera pan to the r. h. side (clockwise) via the con-
trol device. The clockwise panning stops and the device
changes the panning direction as soon as the switching de-
vice (4) pushes against the reversing switch (5). Stop the
pan head immediately after switching.
4) Align the whole pan head together with the mounted cam-
era so that the camera detects the r. h. edge of the monitor-
ing range. Then mount the pan head definitively.
5) Let the camera pan to the l. h. side (counter-clockwise) via
the control device until the l. h. edge of the monitoring
range will be detected by the camera. Stop the pan head at
this position.
