3. Steam cooking
To prepare fruit and vegetables, to steam dumplings.
Use the grate for steam cooking.
Place the grate on the container with non-stick surface.
Add 2 cups of water (the grate must not be immersed in water) and cover
with the lid.
Set the control to 200–240 °C or as needed. The control light comes on.
Do not lift the lid too often to limit the amount of steam and heat, which
would escape.
After fi nishing steam cooking, remove carefully the hot grate.
Then switch the appliance off and unplug it.
4. Cooking
To prepare rice, pasta, potatoes, dumplings, as well as soups, sauces or vegetables.
Set the control to 200–240 °C or as needed. The control light comes on.
Put the required liquid or food (according to the recipe) in the container with non-stick surface and cover
with the lid.
Remove the food after fi nishing cooking it, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
5. Frying
To prepare fried cheese, schnitzels, mushrooms, hamburgers, caulifl ower and
other foods.
Put the required foods in the container with non-stick surface.
Set the control to 180–220 °C or as needed. The control light comes on.
Make sure after fi nishing cooking that the food is well baked through.
Always switch off the appliance and unplug it after fi nishing cooking.

6. Deep-frying

To prepare chips, croquets, American potatoes, as well as fried caulifl ower or
mushrooms.
Pour oil in the container with non-stick surface up to marked line. NEVER
overfi ll.
Set the control to 180–220 °C or as needed. The control light comes on.
Put foods in the deep-fry basket and immerse in oil. Do not fi ll the basket
over the marked line.
Place the deep fried foods on a paper towel to drain.
Always switch off and unplug the appliance when you fi nish preparing food.
7. Baking
To prepare baked dishes, such as baked pasta, potatoes and meat, vegetables
and cheese.
Set the control to 180–220 °C or as needed. The control light comes on.
Put a small amount of oil, butter or vegetable shortening in the container with
non-stick surface.
Always switch off and unplug the appliance when you fi nish preparing food.
8. Grilling
To prepare grilled sausages, steaks, skewers, cheeses, etc.
Set the control to 220–240 °C or as needed. The control light comes on.
Put a small amount of oil, butter or vegetable shortening in the container with non-stick surface.
Remove the food after grilling and then switch off and unplug the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Never immerse the base in water or any other
liquid and do not wash it in the dishwasher.
You can wash the lid in the dishwasher.
Cleaning:
Unplug the power cord.
Lift the lid and take out all the accessories. Wash
the accessories in soapy water.
Always remove fi rst hot oil or any other liquid
from the container with non-stick surface.
Take out the container with non-stick surface,
remove leftovers of liquid or food and let it cool.
