Applications

This dome housing is suitable for mounting up to four
monitoring camera modules. A 12 V DC power supply,
which supplies the camera modules, is integrated. The
power capacity is max. 400 mA. This power capacity
must not be exceeded when selecting the modules.
The following modules from the MONACOR pro-
gramme are suitable:
TVCCD-15M (max. 3 modules)
TVCCD-40M (max. 2 modules)
TVCCD-40MP (max. 2 modules)
TVCCD-42M

Safety Notes

This appliance corresponds to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and the low volt-
age directive 73/23/EEC.
The unit uses dangerous mains voltage (230 V~).
The electric connection must only be performed by
authorized skilled personnel.
Always watch the following items regarding the opera-
tion:

The unit is designed for indoor use only.
•
Protect the unit against humidity and heat (permis-
sible operating temperature range 0-40°C).
•
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is not connected properly or if it is not
repaired by authorized skilled personnel, there is no
liability for possible damage.
•
Use a dry dust cloth only for cleaning, by no means
chemicals or water.

Installation and Connection

1) After removing the acrylic glass dome, screw the
camera modules to the universal brackets. Accord-
ing to the module size it may be necessary to drill
additional holes or to make mounting plates.
2) Connect the modules to the power supply accord-
ing to the connection diagram (see page 2). If
necessary, unscrew the power supply board for
easier handling.
3) Insert the included cable guides into the holes of
the housing for the mains connection and the video
connections.
4) Mount the dome housing to an appropriate position
at the ceiling.
5) Connect the BNC output jacks to the image process-
ing unit (video splitter, camera switcher, monitor).
6) Connect the mains voltage (230 V~/50 Hz). Con-
nect the safety wire to the
metal housing.
7) Check for proper operation and mount the acrylic
glass dome.
