Before using the device
Remove the belt clip
Before inserting batteries into the device, first pull the belt clip latch away
from the device.
Installing the Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert 3x AAA alkaline NiMH rechargeable batteries (not included) into each unit.
Normal AAA batteries can also be used, but only NiMH rechargeable batteries
can be recharged with the included USB charging cable.
WARNING: Never charge normal, non-rechargeable batteries! They may explode as
a result of charging.
3. Position the batteries according to the polarity marking on the battery compart-
ment.
4. After placing batteries into correct positions, replace the battery cover and attach
the clip.
Charging via Micro USB charging cable
The Micro USB connector (1) allows you to charge NiMH rechargeable batteries by
connecting them to a PC or other USB port.
