Connection to power supply (picture B)
1. Insert the coupling member of the power
cable to the plug of the spring-loaded safety
push button.
2. Form a loop from the power cable and slide
it into the cable relief. The loop of the power
cable must be long enough to be able to
slide from one side to the other.
Switching the motor on (picture C and D)
1. Press the safety push button and keep
pressed.
2. Pull the safety handle against the bar. The
motor starts.
Note:
The safety handle does not engage. It
must be hold all the time.
3. Let go the safety push button.
Switching the motor off
1. Let go of the safety handle. The safety
handle automatically returns to the zero
position. The motor is now turned off.
Danger!
After the motor has been switched off,
the roller continues to rotate for a few
seconds – therefore, do not put your
hands under the appliance straight
away.
Operating information
Note:
Before using the appliance, check it for
external damages. The green marking of
the optical safety display must be visible
(5 mm).

To start the appliance, the roller must be
completely unobstructed.

Don't bring your hands and feet close to
rotating parts.

Operate the appliance only, when the safety
distance defined by the guiding bar is
complied with.

Keep the power cable safely.

Drive the appliance only at walking speed.
−
Make sure you have a good standing while
using the appliance.
−
Do not scarify along steep slopes.
−
Always scarify at right angle to slopes, never
directly upwards or downwards.

Never tilt or transport appliance with running

Never leave the appliance unattended.

When leaving, disconnect the appliance from

Checking by an expert is necessary

if the blades of the scarifier roller are bent

if the toothed belt is defective

if the wire leading to the motor is damaged

if there are other damages.
Maintenance and care
Danger!
Pull
the
maintenance and wait for a standstill of
the roller. Repairs of the appliance may
only be executed by an authorized
dealer.
Maintenance rates
Before each operation
1. Make a visual control of the appliance.
2. The appliance must not be used, when nuts,
bolts, screws or other parts are missing,
defective or loose.
3. Make a visual control of the connection line.
Don't use faulty connection lines (e. g. with
cracks, cutting, crushing or bucking signs in
the insulation).
4. Check rear flap and/or grass box for wear
and damages.
Cleaning the appliance
Clean the appliance after each use.
Attention!
Never splash with water. Penetrating
water can destroy the motor and the
safety plug.
Clean the roller with a spatula, brush etc.
Danger!
Risk of injury on the blades of the roller.
Wear protective gloves.
