15.1 Before using

Rinse the bowls and the lid unter runnig water and wipe the heating plate with water tank
with a damp cloth.
► Make sure that the device is still disconnected from power supply.

Cooking of eggs

Fill the quantity of water of a measuring cup into the water tank.
Pierce the eggs on their blunt side with the egg piercer at the bottom of measuring cup .
Place the eggs with blunt side up into the egg tray.
Place the egg tray with the eggs into watertank.
Lid should be placed with steam vent facing the back.
Plug in the mains plug and select the desired hardness for the eggs. The setting refers to
eggs of size M. For smaller eggs turn the setting closer to soft. For bigger eggs turn the
setting closer to hard.
Start the cooking with ON/OFF button. Any turn of knob will reset the timer and cooking
will restart from the beginning.
The eggs are ready when acoustic signal sounds.
If you leave the eggs in the device after this they will be harder.
Switch the device off with OFF button.
Attention
► Pay attention to the hot steam when taking off the lid. Always grasp the handle of the
lid and let condensed water drip off turning the lid over the appliance.
► The hardness selection is actually a very personal judgement. Your experience of using
the appliance is valuable to let you know what setting is fitting your personal taste.

Preparing poached eggs

Fill the quantity of water of a measuring cup into the water tank.
Place the egg tray. Grease the small bowls with a bit of butter and fill in the mass for the
poachd eggs. Alternatively you can also fill in prepared mass for egg custard or for one
omelet for each bowl. Do not fill in more than two eggs into one bowl.
